FREE AMIGURUMI PATTERN: Easter bunny

Easter Bunny Free Amigurumi Pattern

PATRÓN EN ESPAÑOL

SCHEMA IN ITALIANO

If you have ever spent an Easter in Spain you’ll have noticed that the celebration has nothing to do with bunnies, pastel colors and decorated eggs. It has taken years for me to not be surprised to see happy and cute bunnies popolating social media since the end of March, specially from crocheters. This unusual pre-Easter at home, however, I have crocheted four so far, and they seem to be addictive!

The pattern of one of them is on my Instagram, and this two are the revision of a pattern I published 2 years ago but never convinced me that much (and had zero success, to be honest). They are quick to make and you can make it in aaaall the pastel colors of the world (even in non pastel colors if that’s not you thing!). You can also call them ‘Spring bunnies’ or just ‘Bunnies’ and crochet them all year long 🙂

My bunnies are named Cloe and Diego and are brother and sister. Diego is a bit grumpy and dreams to go to the US, and Cloe likes listening to The Beatles and playing ‘The floor is lava’. They love playing tag game together and completing their coloring books while chatting about their day.

Get hook and yarns ready and let’s begin!

MATERIALS
– 1 ball yarn for the fur and 1 ball for the clothes. You can make a bunch of colourful bunnies!
– A thread of black yarn to embroider the face and pink yarn to embroider the cheeks
– A 3.5 mm hook, or the most fitting hook for your yarn
– 1 pair of safety eyes
– Stuffing, tapestry needle, stitch marker and ball head pins.
